About Brewster Bee

Brewster Bee is a Rock/soul singer-songwriter/producer based in Nashville, TN.  Named after an ancestor, William Brewster, who was the publisher of Perth Assembly, the book he secretly published and distributed in England in 1619, and which made King James extremely angry resulting in the eventual confiscation of his printing press.  Like her ancestor, Brewster is a rebel with a joyful spirit who believes that love has the power to heal and make our world a better place. She has written songs that are uplifting, inspirational and healing. She is actively engaged in anti-racism activism, drawing inspiration from the wisdom and legacy of her ancestors. As a young girl, Brewster studied poetry, violin, cello, guitar, piano, music theory, and vocal performance. She performed in a Gospel Choir in High School and small cafes and events in her early career.  Her songs found the admiration of Denny Dias (Founding member of Steely Dan) and Stuart “Dinky” Dawson (Producer and live sound engineer working with artists like Fleetwood Mac, Steely Dan, Miles Davis and others). Her distant cousin Buddy Holly started his career at peermusic where Brewster started her career working in the sync music department landing one of his songs in an IKEA commercial.  Brewster's music is influenced by Heart, Lady Gaga, Imagine Dragons, Dua Lipa, and Adele. She co-writes and collaborates with award winning songwriters Charles Esten, Jasmine Ash, Jason Saenz, and Femke Weidema, as well as upcoming artists Tabitha Meeks, Emmalee, Tyler James Bellinger, Makayla Lynn, Michael McQuaid, and others.  She has collaborated with producers Steve Vito, ELIA EX, Femke, Harry Baymiller, Kurt Goebel and Eric Campbell on her new EP set for release in early 2025. Her debut singles “Supernatural feat. Julisa + ELIA EX” and “Heading for the Top'“ have been added to over 130+ playlists, and are currently being played in 20 sports arenas around the country including The LA Lakers, and the Dallas Mavericks.   Athletes Unlimited, a Women’s Professional Sports league, has licensed “Supernatural feat. Julisa + ELIA EX” in venues and promotional footage for TV broadcast on Bally’s, CBS Sports Texas, ESPN + WNBA APP and Orlando Pride Women’s Pro Soccer team have also licensed her first single for promo footage. Her upcoming single “Future is Here” is set for release August 30th!
